Michelle is Director of MW Ethics & Compliance.                                                           

She is a Commercial Lawyer specialised in the UK Bribery Act, FCPA and Australian Anti-corruption and related Compliance, Third Party Risk, Sustainability and ESG. 

​

Michelle established the Compliance programmes of the global mining companies, Anglo American plc and The Advanced Metallurgical Group (AMG NV.) and the Third Party Risk system of pharmaceutical company, AstraZeneca plc.

 

Michelle worked for The Eurasian Resources Group (ERG NV) for 6.5 years specialising in the challenges of managing Third Party Risk in the high risk jurisdictions of Kazakhstan, Russia, the DRC and South Africa.

She holds a BA.LLB from The University of Sydney and an M.Phil from Cambridge University in Criminology (Organisational Behaviour). Michelle completed Post-graduate study in Sustainability, also at Cambridge.
